It’s taken me a while to find such a fantastic dental practice and having moved away from the area I still travel an hour to go there. The quality of service and quality of dentistry is unrivalled. Professional, friendly staff with years of experience and qualifications. Would recommend 100%

Dermal filler
Administered through an injection, the non-toxic serum is mostly made up from hyaluronic acid. Dermal fillers work to enhance specific areas of the face. Not only do they help to reduce the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, but they also contour and create volume in a natural way. Patients who are looking to get dermal fillers will often say that their skin feels revitalised as a result of the treatment. There are several reasons why someone might require dermal fillers. They can be used in a variety of ways, from enhancing lips to lifting eyebrows. And whilst dermal fillers might seem like a widely used, common and mainstream treatment, they actually require delicate application from a very skilled practitioner.
It is important to note that dermal fillers are not permanent. In fact, once injected, they usually last anywhere between 4 to 24 months. How long the fillers last will usually be determined by the type of filler that has been used for the treatment and, the area of your face in which it has been applied. Dermal fillers are directly linked with skincare, which Dr Maria will carefully recommend.
There are several areas where a patient can get dermal fillers. Some patients may decide to get filler in more than one area of the skin, and this is possible. In the past, we have helped people to use this procedure in the following areas (this is not an exhaustive list):
- Cheek filler
- Chin enhancement
- Lips contouring/enhancement
- Marionette lines
- Naso-labial folds
- Tear trough – dark circles under eyes
- Temples
- Jaw enhancement
- Zigomatic (cheek bone) reconstruction & lift
Fillers can help to contour your lips and enhance their volume. The treatment itself is not painful and can be dissolved if you change your mind later – the treatment is not permanent. How much filler you inject into your lips will depend on the look that you are going for. Your practitioner will always suggest a safe and appropriate amount to help you achieve the look that you want
Cheek fillers raise the volume of the area above and around your cheekbones. Not only can they help to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines, but they can also create the illusion of a more defined bone structure. The procedure itself does not take a long time, and you will be able to see results immediately. Like all fillers, the results are not permanent. However, cheek fillers can last for a matter of months or even years. To create your desired look, cheek fillers can be modified, and patients can add more filler into the treated area.
Facial fillers are typically used as an anti-wrinkle treatment to reduce the appearance of ageing and help revitalise the skin. The results of facial fillers can last for a matter of months or up to one year. Like most dermal fillers, patients may experience bruising and swelling for the first week after treatment. It is important to note that this is normal, and these symptoms will gradually diffuse over time.
Dermal filler can help an individual reshape and contour their chin. Not only can it help to create a more balanced profile, but it can also lengthen a patient’s face. Chin filler has been proven to transform the face of both men and women, and it is a far more cost-effective procedure than getting a surgical chin implant.
